EARTH JEAN DESIGN

It is aimed to dye the products with unique effects with organic dyeing materials obtained from organic plants such as black tea, green tea, linden and clay on denim products. The basis of the project is to obtain products that require less chemicals, less water and produce less waste in order to obtain sustainable products. It is aimed to obtain products with low environmental toxic effects, which will be passed through the organic washing course to denim clothes obtained from sustainable materials. Denim products produced from organic, recycled materials and processed with organic materials instead of chemicals are in high demand in Europe and North America, where the use of denim is intense. Increasing market share day by day will lead Eroðlu Giyim and its customers to demand collections with this concept in the near future. By acting proactively, it is aimed to create new designs by dyeing with organic materials and wet processing applications within the scope of a new concept for jeans produced with organic materials. The studies carried out by the leading brands of the sector regarding both awareness and respect for the environment in stores and online sales are shown to the end customers. These products, which are also sold with different price policies, are especially products that produce less waste, use less water and chemicals, and the demand is expected to increase further in the coming period. Within the scope of the project, 3 different models will be sewn from organic and recycled fabrics. 3 different dyeing-washing recipes were developed considering the original designs and color scale of the sewn models. Additional organic washing materials such as black tea, green tea and clay will be supplied internally and/or externally, and at the same time, black tea wastes have been evaluated in this way. For the application in 3 different recipes, the effects given by washing the fabric sample pieces with different dyes were observed. Afterwards, the effects were observed by making experiments with different scenarios (water, temperature, time) on the fabric test pieces of double, triple or multiple combinations of the materials used. Test pieces will be subjected to fastness and color fastness tests after processing and the values have been recorded. The ratio and recipe combinations determined as a result of the tests to be applied over the finished products were sent to the organic product tests. In addition to the development of a sustainable product, the use of previously untested plants in product wet processes in combinations, and the development of boutique style products with a unique appearance and difficult to repeat, is a form of development applicable to future production in the sector where boutique shopping and personalized products will gradually increase. As a result of the project, tea etc. It is aimed to use plant wastes as a sectoral raw material and to document the effects it gives to create a sustainable collection. However, the environmental impact score calculations of the products washed with organic materials instead of chemicals continue. The fact that the designs that will serve the goal of a sustainable environment also include boutique designs, which is the reason for preference, creates an extra added value for the project.
