Computer-based architectural design applications offer many advantages for architects and designers. These applications make the design process more efficient and effective. First, computer-based applications speed up the design process. By using digital drawings instead of manual drawings, designs can be created more quickly and precisely. In addition, the changes made in the designs can be implemented easily and make it possible to work on different versions. Another advantage of computer-based applications is that they offer realistic visualization. Using 3D modeling and rendering techniques, realistic visuals of designs can be created. This helps designers and clients better understand the project and make decisions. Computer-based applications facilitate collaboration and sharing. Multiple users can work on the same project and easily share design files. This provides an important advantage for teamwork and strengthens communication. In addition, computer-based applications provide the opportunity to perform calculations and analysis of designs. Different analyzes such as load analysis and energy analysis can be performed and the results can be presented visually. It is used as an important tool to evaluate and improve the performance of the design. Computer-based applications also offer the opportunity to make professional documentation and presentation of designs, and technical drawings, sections, plans and other documentation can be computer-based. This also allows the details of the design to be communicated properly. In this study, it is aimed to determine what the benefits of design programs used today are to their users. As a method in the study; In this study, the results of the computer design program users of AutoCAD 3D, 3DS Max, Sketchup, SHAPR3D, Rhinoceros, Revit, Dynamo, and their suggestions in terms of literature were evaluated in this study. At the end of the research, it was determined that computer-based architectural design applications offer designers efficiency, realism, collaboration, analysis and documentation advantages, and it is possible to make faster, more precise and more effective designs thanks to these applications.
