AGRICULTURE 4.0: USAGE OF DRONES IN TURKISH AGRICULTURE INDUSTRY
 
Developing technology has taken its place in the agricultural sector as well as in all areas of life. Technology has taken an indispensable place in the field of agriculture to increase the speed and efficiency of agricultural production in the face of increasing demand. The use of the internet in many areas and in fact the widespread use of the "internet of things" started to form the fourth industrial revolution and this revolution was called the Industry 4.0 revolution. By dint of smart agriculture applications, farmers can control their fields remotely using a tablet or phone, and monitor many processes such as irrigation, humidity and temperature with mobile applications. Recently, the use of UAVs in agriculture has been increased in this direction and they have been used for many purposes such as crop monitoring, spraying, irrigation, and weed detection. The intent of the paper is to ensure that the spraying functions are carried out at the optimum level, taking into account the effect on the productivity of the crop, together with the widespread use of UAVs in the field of agriculture with optimizing the path when carry out the spraying process. This application aims to detect and control the weed population on the plant in the early stages and optimize the UAV’s path during spraying. ORCID NO: 0009-0008-9695-1279
