DESIGN OF DC/AC CONVERTER INVERTER CIRCUIT AND EXAMINATION OF OUTPUT WAVEFORMS ACCORDING TO CAPACITOR-LOAD CONDITION
 
An inverter circuit is used to obtain AC voltage with constant amplitude and frequency needed in residences and industries with renewable energy sources. Power converter or inverter, which can be defined as an electrical power conversion element, is used in many different areas today, from small power supplies used in computers to large systems that power electrical distribution systems. The inverter provides AC current at the desired voltage, power or frequency values. In solar panels and wind turbines to generate electricity from renewable energy sources; Inverters are used in televisions and lighting lamps so that they can be operated in mobile environments such as cars, boats or camping areas. Particularly as a result of the studies on the benefits of renewable energy sources and the increase in the need and demand for these systems, inverter types with more features that work in a higher quality and more stable manner are produced in order to make the energy obtained from wind and solar energy systems suitable for use. In the study, an inverter was designed using a transformer with a common power output end and two Thyristors/SCRs are semiconductor electrical component. Thyristors are normally controlled semiconductor rectifiers, and power electronic circuits are used to control them. Since these systems are compatible with 50Hz frequency, the switching frequency will be 50Hz and therefore the frequency of the AC voltage on the secondary side of the transformer will be 50Hz. To change the thyristor switching frequency, the frequency and amplitude of the AC obtained from the inverter output are changed. The amount the commutation capacitor used in the circuit is calculated according to the ohmic load connected to the secondary end of the transformer at the inverter output. A shock circuit is used at the input to prevent damage to the switching elements at the DC source output. It has been seen that the trend at the inverter output is a distorted wave, and the waveform shapes contain various harmonics. ORCID NO: 0000-0003-0984-5707
