COMPARISON OF POSITIONAL ACCURACY OF ORTHOPHOTOS PRODUCED WITH DJI PHANTOM 4 PRO UAV AND ANAFI PARROT UAV IMAGES
 
With the developments in technology in recent years, it is known that the UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) photogrammetric map production technique is widely used in the photogrammetric mapping. The study aims to compare the effect of the positional accuracies of the orthophotos of Amasya University Hâkimiyet Campus produced using DJI Phantom 4 PRO UAV and Anafi Parrot UAV images and the number of Ground Control Points (GCPs) on this. For this, a total of 6 orthophotos were produced using respectively 10, 20, and 40 GCPs, which were distributed homogeneously in the study area. For accuracy analysis, the positional accuracies of the orthophotos were compared by calculating the root mean square error values of 43 test points. The positional accuracy of the orthophoto produced using DJI Phantom 4 PRO UAV images was calculated as m_y = ±4.1 cm, m_x = ±4.6 cm, and m_k = ±6.2 cm. The positional accuracy of the orthophoto produced by Anafi Parrot UAV images was calculated as m_y = ±4.4 cm, m_x = ±4.8 cm, and m_k = ±6.5 cm. As a result, it has been seen that the positional accuracy of the orthophoto produced with the DJI Phantom 4 PRO UAV is better than the accuracy of the orthophoto produced with the Anafi Parrot UAV. This study has shown that the orthophotos produced with both UAVs can be used in many engineering projects.
