SECURITY APPLICATIONS OF ROBOTIC PALLETIZER&DEPALLETIZER SYSTEMS IN BEVERAGE INDUSTRY

With the increasing product demand, the working capacities of the production lines have increased significantly. This increase in capacity has led to the need to accelerate the processes in production and to make them independent from people. For this purpose, robotic systems have started to be used in many different areas such as material handling, welding processes, cutting, assembly and packaging. Beverage production lines are one of the areas where these robotic systems are used. Depending on the type of bottle used, beverage production lines must be fed with empty bottles at the beginning of the line. For this reason, the bottles are taken from the pallet they are on in a single row and left to the production line. This process is known as depalletisation. On the other hand, at the end of the line, the products are taken in a single line and lined up on the pallet so that the final product can be stored and shipped. This process is called palletizing. Features such as the speed it provides, the ability to work on different road maps, and the area of the low board make robot technology preferred by companies that produce more and more beverages. The issue of safety is gaining more importance day by day for both systems (palletizing-depalletizing) because it is preferred in production lines that constantly contain people/personnel and the active load carried is high. In this study, it will be explained how the safety criteria are created and changes in palletizing and depalletizing systems. In addition, information will be given on issues such as safety requirements, safety standards, vehicles used.
